African Drum Band

This band was assembled and sponsored by a counselor in the Christiansborg Ward Bishopric. They perform at African cultural programs and social events around Accra. We saw them at a cultural event held for some of the students doing humanitarian work in Ghana. The African dancers invited the young obruni people to participate. Before the show was over a 60+ year old obruni sister missionary was dancing to the beat. This rhythm gets into your soul quickly.
